    Product Description

    Product Details
Q1441A Comfortably contours to ears. Soft protection from harmful noise. Blocks noise from snoring. Not made with natural rubber latex. Snoring. Studying. Working. Sports. Power tools. Noise Reduction: 32 decibels (when used as directed). The range of noise reduction rating for existing hearing protectors is approximately 0 to 30 (High numbers denote greater effectiveness). Sound Attenuation Data: 125 Frequency Hz: 37.3 mean attenuation, dB; 5.9 standard deviation, dB; 32 NRR. 250 Frequency Hz: 40.8 mean attenuation, dB; 5.3 standard deviation, dB; 32 NRR. 500 Frequency Hz: 43.1 mean attenuation, dB; 5.0 standard deviation, dB; 32 NRR. 1000 Frequency Hz: 41.6 mean attenuation, dB; 4.8 standard deviation, dB; 32 NRR. 2000 Frequency Hz: 40.7 mean attenuation, dB; 2.8 standard deviation, dB; 32 NRR. 3150 Frequency Hz: 45.6 mean attenuation, dB; 4.2 standard deviation, dB; 32 NRR. 4000 Frequency Hz: 46.2 mean attenuation, dB; 4.2 standard deviation, dB; 32 NRR. 6300 Frequency Hz: 49.4 mean attenuation, dB; 4.4 standard deviation, dB; 32 NRR. 8000 Frequency Hz: 48.3 mean attenuation, dB; 4.5 standard deviation, dB; 32 NRR. The level of noise entering a person's ear, when hearing protector is worn as directed, is closely approximated by the difference between the A-weighted environmental noise level and the NRR. Example: 1. The environmental noise level as measured at the ear is 92 dBA. 2. The NRR is (32) decibels (dB). 3. The level of noise entering the ear is approximately equal to [92 dB(A)-32 NRR] dB(A). Essential to care since 1979. 100% money back guarantee. www.myleader.com. EPA: Federal law prohibits removal of this label prior to purchase. Label required by US EPA regulation 40 CFR part 211, subpart B.

    Indications

    Directions
    1. With clean hands, free from creams/lotions, slowly roll down and squeeze the earplug between fingers until it is compressed. 2. Insert the compressed plug slowly into the ear canal. This is easier if the ear is gently pulled upwards and outwards. 3. Keep the plug in place until it has expanded back to fill the ear canal. 4. Refit the plug if it becomes dislodged through movement. Before each fitting, the plugs should be inspected. Do not use dirty or damaged plugs.

    Warnings
Caution: For noise environments dominated by frequencies below 500 Hz, the C-weighted environmental noise level should be used. Improper fit of this device will reduce its effectiveness in attenuating noise. Consult the instructions for proper fit. Although hearing protectors can be recommended for protection against the harmful effects of impulsive noise, the Noise Reduction Rating (32) is based on the attenuation of continuous noise and may not be an accurate indicator of the protection attainable against impulsive noise such as gunfire. Children should always be supervised by an adult. Keep away from infants or small children, as swallowing earplug may interfere with breathing which could result in serious injury or death.
